eTAKA was a crash project developed during a university course, aiming to replicate the functionality of PayPal. It provided users with a secure platform for online payments, money transfers, and wallet management. Key features included user registration, wallet management, payment processing, transaction history, security measures, mobile accessibility, and customer support. Despite its rapid development, eTAKA aimed to offer a reliable and user-friendly solution for digital financial transactions.
Developing eTAKA posed several challenges, including time constraints, limited resources, and the complexity of replicating the features and security measures of a giant like PayPal within a short timeframe.
Facing time and resource constraints, the team behind eTAKA employed an agile approach, prioritizing core features like user registration and payment processing. Leveraging existing tools and frameworks, they implemented stringent security measures while maintaining effective communication. Although not replicating all of PayPal's features, eTAKA provided a functional and secure platform for online transactions within project constraints.
